pongal

Ingredients:


Rice 200 gms
Moong dal 1/2 cup
whole Pepper 1 spoon
Salt to taste
Curry leaves 8-10 nos
Ghee 2 tablespoon
Cashew 25gm
Ginger 1 piece

green chilli 4nos


Method:

Soak rice and dal, mix it and cook nicely (rice and dal cooked well
and it should be in sticky form).
Cut ginger, curry leaves
Heat one spoon ghee, fry cashew and set aside.
Heat ghee and fry ginger,curry leaves,cumin whole,and green chilli.
Add pepper in that.
Add all these with rice and dal along with salt and mix well.
To mix well can sprinkle little water and mix well.
